Video: Mission K-IMPossible Episodes 3 & 4
Its all go in the Hack Engineering workshop today as the whole team are pitching in to get the Imp back on the road! The parts are being gathered and the hard work is going in. The car will use a 1992 BMW K100 16V engine mounted to the original Imp gearbox using a billet conversion kit. Ben and Chris set about cleaning that up after years of road grime, Taite is getting dirty cleaning up the shell, Luke is making chassis reinforcement plates and Alex talks you through the process (while restoring the steering rack).
Ben is still busy dry building the engine and gearbox using the Complete Engineering Services billet adapter kit. Meanwhile Luke and Taite are busy working on the shell and checking out the ’60s tech.
