The original oil-filled differential rear bushing on BMW’s F87 M2, F87 M2C/M2CS, F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4 models is a known point of failure especially when running increased horsepower – and this isn’t the fault of purely the bush itself. As it mounts in only one place on the rear of the differential, the entire unit undergoes extreme torsional load.

The F8X rear subframe actually has a location for a second differential bush, but BMW didn’t use it. This Dual-Mount Differential Rear Mounting Bracket from Powerflex allows the utilisation of the second differential bush location, meaning that you can secure the diff properly against torsional load and protect the mounting bush from failure.

The Powerflex piece replaces the original diff hanger bracket and is CNC-machined 6082 High-Tensile Aluminium, which is anodised satin black for corrosion resistance. Comes complete with bolt – bushes are not included.
