Installing Karbonius carbon fibre doors on your car is one of the biggest weight savings you can make – shaving 13 kilograms for each door comped with OEM.

Karbonius manufacture this item with extreme care because it directly affects the safety of occupants. They looked for the lowest possible weight without sacrificing safety – only the finest raw materials are used including pre-preg carbon fibre and Aramid fibre (Kevlar) for both the outer panel and on the side protection bars.

The side protection bars are inserted inside the door and structural adhesive and OEM screws are used to fix them. The door is designed to install with all the genuine latches, hinges, as well as locks, window regulators, rubbers, and interior panels (not included). A complete swap for the original door panel.

To achieve the precision needed to do the mechanisms work correctly, the interior panel is CNC-cut. Standard finish is primed (ready to paint) on the outer side, and 4×4 matte visible carbon fibre on inner part.

The Visible Carbon exterior finish option is in 2×2 weave.

  • These parts are for TRACK AND RACE CARS, adjustments could be required at fitting.
  • It is not necessary to perforate or cut anything, although changing several origin parts could be necessary.

Notice of installation: Although Karbonius products are designed for an OEM-like fit, some minor adjustment may be required. Check that the fitting of the part is as expected before making any painted or modifications to the parts or to the car . Karbonius Composites will not be responsible for the costs of revert the vehicle to its original condition, or any painting expenses.
