Bimmerworld “Junior Puck” Clutch Stop (E28/E30/E34/E36/E39/E46/Z3/Z8)
£26.40
Bimmerworld’s “Junior Puck” Clutch Stop removes the excess clutch pedal travel for faster and more precise shifting.
Shifting gears is relatively simple: you press your clutch pedal to the engagement point, the clutch grabs, and you shift. However, if you’re pressing your pedal significantly past the engagement point, you’re using up valuable time that could be better spent accelerating. In Bimmerworld’s racecars, this can sacrifice 3-4 MPH on a given straight, and excessive pedal travel could be damaging your clutch.
What makes the BimmerWorld clutch stop different, besides being snatched from some young Jagr protege in Eastern Europe?
- First, the hockey puck was specifically chosen to provide a larger diameter face to stop your clutch lever, which can have quite a bit of flex due to plastic construction and rubber bushings, allowing it to be pushed around smaller stops. Plus, when you hit the stop in anger, the 90 Shore A material gives a very satisfying thud – not some tinky, lightweight clink.
- Second, its longer. The BimmerWorld Clutch Stop works perfectly with your stock or standard performance clutch, but it becomes critical for high-end clutches and race clutch/flywheel combinations that have much less travel before over-extension.
Fits all E28, E30, E34, E36, E39, E46, Z3, and Z8 cars with manual transmissions.

NOTE: some later E36 and all E46 BMWs require the clutch to be partially or fully depressed in order to start the vehicle. Because of the nature of the clutch stop, it doesn’t allow the clutch to be depressed fully to the floor, which may not activate the switch to allow the car to start without a simple sensor modification. Note that modifying the sensor may inactivate your cruise control.
