SP Components forged H-beam con-rods for the S50B32 engine as found in the E36 M3 Evo and early Z3 M.

The high-revving nature of the S50B32 means that we have seen numerous con-rod failures due to metal fatigue, causing breakages below the small end even on standard engines. When adding greater cylinder pressures, forced induction and/or a higher rev limit it is essential that the rods are upgraded to suit.

SP Components’ forged rods are made to a very high standard with polished cheeks, a great strength to weight ratio and precision balancing. They also come complete with ARP hardware and offer some of the best value to money out there.
